Keystone Conditions of Sale for kittens

Our pussies are a very special and all-encompassing part of our household. They share it with us and our lovely Labrador dog. We promote healthy, happy & sociable creatures alongside ourselves and enjoy both showing and breeding our cats!! This enables us to maintain our high standards under the various governing bodies we show with and meet other like-minded people!

I have been breeding British Shorthair for over twenty years. I love the conformation and special calm and stolid character of the British shorthairs. Keystone cats are all LOOF or GCCF registered. I am a member of the GCCF Breeders Club and a member of cat clubs CCLDS [Fife] in France & a life time member of SBSHCC in UK.

We only sell to genuine cat lovers and mostly for pets and all kitten owners are required to sign a contract of sale. This is to help protect our cats, ourselves and the very many people whose cats are on our pussies’ pedigrees as well as the new owners themselves.

Buying a Keystone Kitty: - I sell my kittens as pets for 750 euros. Anyone wishing to purchase a breeding girl or boy would need to contact me for further information and current breeding prices. We do export kittens in special cases.

For your protection.

Unfortunately, certain contagious illnesses in cats don’t develop, and for some, aren’t detectable, straight away. As the purchaser of the kitten, French law (Art 2 du Décret 90-572 du 28 juin 1990) provides you with a guarantee against these illnesses, along as you respect certain criteria within a prescribed time. For example, with regards to Feline Infectious Peritonitis, if your kitten becomes sick, you have 21 days from the time you take charge of the kitten to have it examined by a qualified vet, and the illness confirmed in writing by the veterinary’s report or autopsy report.

In the case where the conditions set out by law are respected, and the diagnosis of such an illness is positive, the cost of the kitten will be reimbursed. We cannot be held responsible for any other costs directly or indirectly connected with either the purchase of, or treatment of, the kitten.

We encourage new owners to let us know how your kitten is settling into his or her new home and love having pictures to see how they are developing.

Visits & Waiting List:- We welcome visitors to see our kittens before purchase and for prospective owners further afield we have a waiting list.
